Negative Calorie Foods that Burn Fat

There are several key foods to eat for weight loss.  Certain types of foods sometimes called negative calorie or fat burning foods, use more calories to digest then they contain or help to raise the metabolism which in turn helps to burn fat.  All of these fat fighting foods are taken from natural sources so they are actually doing your body good at the same time as burning fat.  Here are some of the foods that burn fat naturally.

A number of natural berries help to burn fat. These can be used to sweeten foods in place of sugars. The natural sweetness of fruit is loaded with more nutrients and less empty calories than sugar and sugar substitutes. There are several berries on this list of fat burning foods. Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and cranberries are seasonal fruits but readily available in the freezer department of local grocery providers. Currants, huckleberries, loganberries and raspberries are more plentiful in some areas than in others.

Several types of greens and vegetable are known to help burn fat. They can be added in to regular meal times, or substituted for other vegetables which contain more fat or calories. Lastly, root vegetables are definitely worthy of your fat burning food list. Substituting turnips for potatoes can yield many healthful benefits. Onions, carrots and celery are low calorie foods which help to get rid of extra fats. Parsnips, radishes and rutabagas are know to burn more fat than the calories they contain.
